Disappearing Languages

I created this infographic for a visual story telling assignment. Requirements were that it be in long format and to use the advanced cartographic technique of bivariate maps. Bivariate maps were created using ArcMap and IndieMapper (by Axis Maps). Data visualizations created using RAWGraphs. Everything was combined and finished in Adobe Illustrator.

Language disappearance is growing and the reasons for preserving endangered lanaguges are many; cultural identity, local knowledge, and more.
