Great Divide Cycling Tour

This map and graphics were created for a terrain representation challenge. Project was to design and map a proposed route for a 21 day cycling tour with a day break every 7 days, traveling approximately 100 miles a day depending on terrain.
I choose a tour through the Rocky Mountains similar to the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and the Great Divide Mountain Biking Tour. This tour, unlike the trails above, sticks to roads and is therefore more accessible for fans and enthusiasts who might want to complete some sections themselves.
The route crosses the Continental Divide 10 times before a grand finish in Glacier National Park on the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road.
